The lifelong friendship between Ted Casper and Mike Runyon came into fruition because of the lasting friendship between their fathers, Tom Casper and Pete Runyon, who graduated together from the 1969 class of Cretin. Accordingly, Ted and Mike have known each other since they were in diapers. 

In December of 2006, Ted and Mike decided they needed more than the few dozen tables and bar spots that The Nook allows. They bought Shamrocks. With triple the dining space, Shamrocks serves the same great burgers, offers a full bar and live entertainment. In January of 2008, the Food Network show, Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, showcased The Nook. 

Ted Casper and Mike Runyon are two of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. They're very fortunate to have a loyal customer following and hope to satisfy their customers' burger appetite for many years to come!

And they happen to own two of the best restaurants in town.
